Attention watchers and members of Obaka-Momo. Damien here. It has come to my attenion, Jow, and Jerri that our group hasn't been doing its job very well as we had hoped for.

Let me explain a few things first. I first started this group because another group called Okage-Sama De~ began around the same last year. I was jealous of them and formed a small group for Fanime before it became Obaka-Momo. Soon after that in July 08, Obaka-Momo was formed so that we could do our own photoshoots, skits, etc. Afterwards, I personally realized how selfish I was towards Okage-Sama De~ and forgave myself and moved on with Obaka-Momo.

So far, for me, all it has been was doing photoshoots. The only skits we've done were at OsD's Cosplay Teas and at AOD 09. I'm disappointed. A lot of us are/were busy and couldn't make the time for this group a lot as I had hoped for. About half of our members are gone doing their own business. Kiara quit on account of her talents growing and moving on towards a group with more experience and more competitive. Jow quit mainly for the same reason, for competition. After all that, Obaka-Momo went kind of...dead.

I have to give credit to Jeri for trying to keep this group alive as much as possible. I have spoken with her and Jow about this matter.

What will happen is this group will shut down and start over. Meaning we'll have a new group name, new members (most will be same), new material, and a LOT MORE ACTIVE.

All members of Obaka-Momo. I want you to think about this, what is the purpose of this group to you. To me(Damien), this group should be like most other cosplay groups. Having photoshoots, recording videos, making new cosplays. We don't have to meet every week, but at least maybe every 2 weeks or twice every month I'm not sure. The choice is yours.
